Leah DeVun focuses on the history of gender, sexuality, science, and medicine in pre-modern Europe, as well as on contemporary queer and transgender studies. DeVun is also a multi-media artist and curator whose work explores queer, feminist, and gender nonconforming history.

Rutgers Theater Company Presents: “She Kills Monsters” by Qui Nguyen
When Agnes chances on her late sister's Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she starts a journey of discovery and adventure in an imaginary world of ferocious fairies, obnoxious ogres, and pop culture of the 1990's. This big-hearted comedy warps back and forth between fantasy and reality, with the two ultimately colliding as Agnes learns who her sister really was.
