• $55 submission fee
• Three letters of recommendation
• Personal statement
• Portfolio

A unique link and a temporary pin to complete the Talent Assessment will be emailed to you upon submission of your Rutgers application or Common App.

Personal Statement

In 300–500 words, write about what draws you to playwriting, what you love about plays and the theater, what you feel curious about, how you hope to develop in a graduate playwriting program.

Portfolio

Applicants are required to submit two plays or one play and one short story.
