CANCELED Guest Artist Recital: Andriy Dragan and Oksana Rapita

A mother-and-son duo piano recital of Ukranian music, featuring composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. Works include “Variations on an Ukrainian Theme” by Franz Xaver Mozart, who spent nearly 30 years of his life in Lviv; a variety of pieces by composers who dedicated their life and work to Ukraine and stood up in their own ways against the totalitarian regime; and pieces by Myroslav Skoryk, most known for his “Melody” that became a symbol of Ukrainian sovereignty.
