“I supervise about 20 student staffers who are mostly Federal Work Study students,” says Jessica Cogan, who coordinates and oversees operations at the Mason Gross Performing Arts Center’s ticket office. “I like to call their position ‘Working in the Real World 101.’ When they are assigned to us as first-year students, they arrive with a wide variety of life and work experiences. My favorite type of moment is watching the students grow, mature, and learn new skills during their journey as employees at the MGPAC.”
