Biography

Paul Conrad is the choir director and organist of Middlebush Reformed Church (Somerset, NJ), a lecturer, vocal coach, staff pianist and classroom piano instructor at MGSA, and accompanist of the Rutgers University Glee Club (RUGC), Kirkpatrick Choir. Paul was also the accompanist of the Highland Park Community Chorus for ten years.

As a ballet pianist Conrad has played for the Mason Gross Dance Department and at the Cecchetti International Summer School in Holland, MI. As a choral accompanist he has served as a faculty member with Berkshire Choral International for festivals in Sonoma, Asheville, Baltimore, Boston, Seattle, and Lenox.

Notable performances include performing with BCI in Seiji Ozawa Hall, accompanying NJ All-State Choruses, CJMEA Honor Choirs, Hub City Opera and Dance Company’s productions Un\Rooted (2020) and Masks (2021), playing and conducting Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with HPCC (May 2019), and accompanying RUGC on tours in the UK and the Netherlands (2015), Scandinavia and Estonia (2018), and at the ACDA Eastern Region Conference in Rochester, NY (2020).
