Julia Shicatano is a graduate of Rutgers University where she received an B.F.A degree in Dance Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts and Ed.M degree in Dance Education with a K-12 teaching certification. She has taught dance and somatic practices in high school performing arts programs in New Jersey including Hopewell Valley Central High School and Ridge High School. Julia has appeared in a National T-Mobile commercial, ColorMe Cosmetics Times Square commercial, modeled for Matrix Hair, and worked with Daniel Gold and RWS Entertainment in New York and New Jersey. She has had the pleasure of performing works by Evelyn Wang, John Evans, Blair Richie, and Cleo Mack while at Rutgers. In addition to teaching and performing, Julia judges for National Dance Competitions across the East Coast and Midwest.
