Dan Siegler is a composer and sound artist from New York City. His work is influenced by musique concrète, and incorporates analog synthesizers, orchestral instruments, glitch material and field recordings, with references to American roots music. He is a CAP/UCLA Artist-in-Residence, a recipient of a (WPA) Virtual Commission from Works & Process at The Guggenheim and a Bessie Award winner. Siegler has created an extensive body of work for choreographers. His collaborations with Pam Tanowitz have been performed at The Joyce Theater, Danspace Project, Central Park Summerstage, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Art Basel and many other venues from Brooklyn to Buenos Aires. They were awarded an EtM Choreographer + Composer residency administered by Exploring the Metropolis. He has also worked with Dylan Crossman, Yanira Castro and others.
