Empty the pond to get the fish.
Christopher McCarroll is a filmmaker and artist originally from Lethbridge, AB, Canada. He splits his interests between narrative cinema and conceptual video art practices, and his work in both disciplines has been shown in festivals and galleries internationally. Select projects include his film Uniform Material, which premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival, and We Are Not Home Free, a video installation which was produced for Toronto’s Nuit Blanche and travelled to such venues as Amsterdam’s Mediamatic and Vancouver’s The Storage Gallery. McCarroll holds a BFA in film production from Simon Fraser University and a master’s degree in film from York University. He has taught in various disciplines for the past 7 years.
