Anastasia Ellis is a dramaturg and former professional dancer. She is a current MFA Dramaturgy candidate at Columbia University, where her research is focused on movement-literate dramaturgy and multi-sensory archival methods for dance performance. As a dramaturg, she is working with No. 11 Productions on a new play set to premiere in February 2025 at 59E59 Theaters. At Columbia, she worked on the development of new plays with playwrights D.A. Mindell and Andrew Reid. Anastasia also works as a movement director and choreographer, and she danced professionally with Chris Ferris & Dancers and ALDEN MOVES Dance Theatre.
