Design Lecture: Alissa Levin

Alissa Levin is founder and creative director of Point Five, a New York City-based creative studio. For 27 years, she has led the studio in designing brands, editorial, and communication strategies for the organizations shaping the big conversations of our time. Levin’s areas of focus include art direction and editorial strategy, and she particularly loves to partner with clients at the forefront of scientific, political, religious, and social advancement that bring groundbreaking work to a public audience.

Visiting Artist Lecture: Eric N. Mack

Eric N. Mack’s work varies from sculpture and installation, to wall pieces and work on paper. His aesthetic involves a particular type of tactility and usage of common items, primarily those related to clothing.

Always in quest of artistic creation, violinist Stéphane TRAN NGOC has performed as a soloist with orchestra, in recitals, or as a chamber musician - in a string quartet or, today, as the concertmaster of the Danish Chamber Players - in over thirty countries and in some of the world's best concert halls such as Salle Pleyel, Carnegie Hall, Tokyo's Suntori Hall, Bejing's National Concert Hall and with orchestras such as the Philharmonic of Radio-France, Orchestre National d'Île de France, Orquesta Nacional de Mexico, Sinshei Symphony Orchestra.

Guest Artist Piano Recital: Jean Beers

The concert pianist and composer Jean Beers has been involved in a wide range of exciting and experimental interdisciplinary projects. Excursions into the creative use of digital media have seen JB collaborating with electroacoustic composers and Techno DJs in joint ambient tracks. Her love of dance and outer musical artistic expression has led to numerous projects with choreographers and dancers in Germany and Austria.
