Brass Ensemble Concert

Rutgers Sinfonia Fall Concert
Nicholas Music Center 85 George Street, New Brunswick, NJ, United StatesSinfonia presents their Fall concert, featuring "An Outdoor Overture" and "Suite from the Tender Land" by Aaron Copland. Concerto competition winner Ryan Colarusso will be featured as the soloist in "Concerto for Trumpet" by Alexander Arutiunian. The concert will conclude with Ivette Herryman-Rodríguez's "Un danzón a mi manera," a composition inspired by Cuban styles of dance.
Latin American Chamber Music Ensemble
Nicholas Music Center 85 George Street, New Brunswick, NJ, United StatesThe Latin American Chamber Music Ensemble concert will feature the “Buena Vista Social Club” song catalogue in instrumental form. This famous Cuban music repertoire will be paired with several works by the prominent Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.
